🚀 Core Capabilities
Marketing Channels

Six integrated tools that cover every stage of trucking marketing — from first contact to conversion. No third-party subscriptions required.

📧
Email Campaigns
Design and send branded emails to drivers, carriers, and prospects. Choose from a library of HTML templates or build your own. Every email includes open tracking, click tracking, and automatic unsubscribe management so you stay CAN-SPAM compliant. Schedule sends for optimal delivery windows — early morning for drivers, mid-week for dispatchers. Personalize with merge tags: first name, company, equipment type, and location. Failed deliveries are flagged automatically and bounced addresses are removed from future campaigns.
📱
SMS Outreach
Integrated SignalWire SMS. TCPA-compliant opt-in workflows ensure every message is permission-based. SMS campaigns achieve 98% open rates — far above email averages. Ideal for overnight driver recruiting blasts, appointment reminders, and re-engagement sequences. Each message includes an automatic STOP handler. Delivery receipts confirm every send. Two-way messaging lets recipients reply directly, and their responses appear in the lead timeline inside VAU0 Portal.
🎯
Audience Segmentation
Target the right people with precision. Segment your audience by role (driver, owner-operator, dispatcher, carrier), status (active, inactive, prospect), location (state, region, zip code), equipment type (dry van, reefer, flatbed, tanker), or any custom tags you define. Segments update dynamically — when a lead’s status changes, they move to the correct segment automatically. Build complex audience rules by combining multiple filters with AND/OR logic. Save segments for reuse across campaigns.
🤖
AI Blast Campaigns
Let AI write your campaign copy. Describe your goal in plain English — “recruit CDL-A drivers in Texas for reefer lanes” — and the AI generates subject lines, email body text, and SMS messages optimized for your audience. A/B testing is built in: the system creates two variants, sends each to a test group, and automatically promotes the winner to the remaining audience. AI also suggests optimal send times based on historical engagement data for your segment.
📊
Campaign Analytics
Real-time dashboards show open rates, click rates, reply rates, and conversion to application. Track cost per lead and cost per hire across every channel. Compare campaign performance side-by-side. Drill into individual recipient activity — see who opened, who clicked, and who applied. Export reports to CSV for offline analysis. Weekly digest emails summarize performance across all active campaigns. Identify your highest-performing templates, subject lines, and send times so you can continuously optimize.
🔄
Drip Automation
Set up automated sequences that nurture leads over time. Day 1: introduction email with company overview. Day 3: SMS follow-up asking if they have questions. Day 7: re-engagement email highlighting benefits and pay. Day 14: final touchpoint with a direct apply link. Configure once and it runs forever — every new lead entering the segment enters the drip automatically. If a lead takes an action (replies, clicks apply, calls in), they exit the drip and move to active recruiter follow-up. Drip sequences can include email, SMS, or both.
All six channels share a unified contact database. A lead’s email activity, SMS replies, and campaign interactions appear on a single timeline — giving recruiters and marketers complete visibility without switching between tools.

🔁 From Contact to Conversion
Lead Lifecycle

Every lead follows a structured path from initial contact to recruiter handoff. Nothing falls through the cracks.

1
Lead Enters the System
Leads enter from multiple sources: website contact forms, SMS replies to outbound campaigns, imported CSV files from job boards, or AI outbound phone calls. Each source is tagged automatically so you always know where a lead came from. The system de-duplicates on email and phone number — if a lead already exists, their record is updated rather than duplicated. Bulk CSV imports support mapping custom columns to VAU0 fields, making it easy to migrate from other platforms or import purchased lead lists.
2
Tagged and Segmented Automatically
As soon as a lead enters, the system applies tags based on source, role, and interest level. A driver who replies “YES” to an SMS campaign gets tagged as high-interest. A website form submission gets tagged by the page they came from (e.g., “CDL-A jobs” vs. “owner-operator opportunities”). Location, equipment type, and experience level are captured where available. These tags determine which automated campaign sequences the lead enters and which recruiter queue they appear in.
3
Automated Campaign Sequence Starts
Based on segment membership, the lead enters a 14-day drip sequence combining email and SMS touchpoints. The sequence is fully configurable — you choose the timing, channel, and content for each step. A typical driver recruiting sequence might look like: Day 0 (welcome email), Day 1 (SMS with quick question), Day 3 (email with pay and benefits details), Day 7 (SMS reminder), Day 10 (email with driver testimonials), Day 14 (final SMS with direct apply link). Each step only fires if the lead hasn’t already converted.
4
Warm Leads Flagged for Recruiter
When a lead takes a high-intent action — clicking the apply link, replying to a message, or answering an AI call — the system flags them as “warm” and pushes a notification to the assigned recruiter. The recruiter sees the lead’s full activity timeline: which emails they opened, which links they clicked, what they replied, and how they originally entered the system. This context lets the recruiter have an informed conversation instead of a cold call.
5
Converted Leads Move to Recruiter Center
Once a lead submits an application, they transition from the Marketing Center to the Recruiter Center automatically. All marketing activity, notes, and tags transfer with them. The recruiter picks up where marketing left off — no re-entry, no lost context. The handoff is seamless: the lead’s record moves into the recruiter pipeline with their application status, documents, and communication history intact. Marketing campaigns stop automatically to avoid sending recruiting messages to someone who has already applied.
The average time from lead entry to application submission is 6.4 days when drip campaigns are active. Without automation, the same conversion takes 22+ days and requires manual recruiter follow-up at every step.
📈
Lead Scoring
Every lead accumulates a score based on their engagement: opening an email (+2), clicking a link (+5), replying to SMS (+10), starting an application (+25). Scores determine priority in the recruiter queue. High-scoring leads get called first. The scoring model is configurable — adjust point values to match your conversion patterns. Leads that go cold (no engagement for 30 days) are automatically moved to a re-engagement segment for a fresh campaign.
📋
Source Attribution
Know which marketing channels deliver the best ROI. Every lead carries a source tag (SMS campaign, email campaign, website form, AI call, CSV import, referral) that persists through conversion. The analytics dashboard breaks down cost per lead and cost per hire by source, so you can allocate budget to the channels that actually produce drivers. Compare campaign performance across time periods, regions, and equipment types.
🔐 Compliance & Infrastructure
SignalWire SMS Integration

Enterprise-grade SMS infrastructure with full carrier registration and TCPA compliance.

🔐
Registration & Compliance
VAU0’s SMS campaigns run on a fully registered brand with all major carriers. The registration details are maintained and current:
  • Campaign ID CJ7ICHP — registered and approved for recruiting messages
  • Brand ID BWVCW3X — verified business identity with The Campaign Registry
  • TCPA compliant — all recipients must opt in before receiving messages
  • Dedicated sending number for outbound campaigns — consistent caller ID
  • AT&T Message Class E approval — trusted sender status
  • T-Mobile approved — no filtering or blocking on T-Mobile network
  • STOP keyword removes from all lists within 2 seconds automatically
  • Delivery receipts generated per message for compliance record-keeping
  • Message content reviewed against carrier guidelines before send
Technical Infrastructure
The SMS system is designed for high throughput and reliability. Here is how it works under the hood:
  • SignalWire LaML API for message sending and receiving
  • Webhook-based delivery receipt processing — no polling required
  • Automatic retry for temporarily undeliverable messages (up to 3 attempts)
  • Rate limiting to stay within carrier throughput guidelines
  • Message queue with priority ordering — time-sensitive messages go first
  • Full message archive with 3-year retention for compliance audits
  • Opt-out list synchronized across all campaign types in real time
  • Failover routing if primary sending number is temporarily unavailable
  • Inbound message parsing for keyword detection (YES, STOP, HELP, INFO)
TCPA Compliance Note: All SMS recipients must provide explicit opt-in consent before receiving messages. VAU0 Portal tracks consent timestamps, consent source (web form, keyword reply, paper form), and consent scope (which campaign types the recipient agreed to receive). Sending messages to non-consented numbers is prohibited and will result in campaign suspension.
📝
Opt-In Flow Details
The opt-in process works as follows. A prospect texts a keyword (like “JOBS”) to the campaign number. The system replies with a disclosure message explaining message frequency, data rates, and how to opt out. The prospect must reply “YES” to confirm consent. Only after this double opt-in is complete does the prospect enter the campaign audience. Consent records include: timestamp, phone number, keyword used, disclosure message sent, confirmation reply received, and IP address (for web-based opt-ins). These records are retained indefinitely for TCPA defense purposes.
📄
Message Template Guidelines
Every SMS template must include: (1) business name identification, (2) purpose of the message, (3) opt-out instructions (reply STOP). Templates are reviewed against carrier content policies before they enter production rotation. Prohibited content includes: misleading claims, guaranteed income promises, loan or financing offers, and any content that violates SHAFT guidelines (sex, hate, alcohol, firearms, tobacco). Templates that fail review are flagged with specific feedback so you can revise and resubmit.
